About Us

Leeds Property Networking Events

Michael Entwistle founded Leeds Property Networking in May 2007, and held the very first meeting in the public bar at the Queens Hotel in central Leeds. There were two attendees that night – Mike himself and Tim Porritt, a local investor from York – but from little acorns grow great and lasting Oaks. A chance meeting with Dan Latto (and David Price) of The Think Tank Group at the Manchester Property Networking Club later that month saw Mike and Dan team up to market the event a little more rigorously. In the following month the numbers grew and have been steadily increasing ever since.

In January 2008, our move into the Study at The Living Room, a private room within a trendy Leeds City centre bar, enabled the event to evolve into its current format. Dan moved on to set-up his Marketing Your Small Business networking group and has also developed the franchise system for The Think Tank Group lettings business.

We've now moved into the donwstairs bar of The Sports Cafe on the Headrow, again in Leeds City centre. The Leeds Property Networking events continue to go from strength-to-strength, building on the successful Round Table Discussion format which we have pioneered within Property Networking.

We look to be innovative and topical with our speakers, and our Round Table Discussions always provide differing views, friendly discussion, and most importantly, everyone has the opportunity to participate – be it to learn and take information away, or add to that being discussed – a classic win-win for everyone.

We will continue to seek out the most-up-to-date speakers and provide relevant topics for discussion, ensuring all attendees get good value from the time and effort they place on attending Leeds Property Networking.

Leeds Property Networking – More than Just Property Networking!

This website provides its readers with more than just information about the Leeds Property Networking events. Until February 2009, the events and newsletters were publicised predominantly via email and the Leeds Property Networking Facebook Group, and occasional forays onto the wide-ranging property forums and property membership sites. Our aim with this website is to regularly inform you of:

  • News, Articles and relevant Opportunities;
  • Other UK Property Networking events,
  • Relevant UK Business Networking events;
  • Recommended Services from carefully selected partners and trusted contacts; and
  • Regular Newsletters and updates to our email subscribers

Michael Entwistle

Michael EntwistleHi, and welcome to my Leeds Property Networking website – I hope you enjoy your visit and that you take as much away from this site as you want. I am first-and-foremost a property investor, having bought my first investment property with my brother, Simon, in December 2006. We have gone on to buy a few more investment properties relatively quickly for two people who were both holding down full-time occupations, and still do so today!

By day I am a Management Consultant and, as well as hosting the monthly Leeds Property Networking event I have started another business, which is a great “bolt-on” for any property investor or Lettings Agent, and a simple, yet fantastic way to save you and your tenants' money. Have a look at this short online DVD - I would really welcome your feedback.

Should you wish to get in touch, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at mike@leedspropertynetworking.com (it’s much easier than trying to get me on the phone!). You can also sign-up to receive regular updates and newsletters by completing your details in the sign-up boxes at the top-right of every page.

So if I don’t see you in Leeds, then I look forward to meeting up with you at one of the many other events around the county.
